Injury-Prone Pouncey Still Reliable When Healthy
Pouncey was one of the NFL's best and most reliable centers early in his career, but injuries have hampered him since 2013. He missed a total of eight games from 2013 to 2015 after starting all 32 games in his first two seasons.
The good news for Miami is that when Pouncey is healthy, his performance hasn't suffered. The Dolphins had the NFL's second-worst offensive line last season, per Khaled Elsayed of Pro Football Focus, but Pouncey was given accolades for his performance amid a sea of chaos.
This is an important year for Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, though it's hard to judge his performance playing behind a struggling offensive line.
