NHL Draft 2016: TV, Live-Stream Schedule and 1st-Round Mock Draft Predictions
The Pittsburgh Penguins have reigned as Stanley Cup champions for less than two weeks, but they and the rest of the NHL must set their sights on Friday night's NHL draft from Buffalo, New York.
First-pick honors sit with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have an opportunity to draft forward Auston Matthews, who is regarded by many as the best player in the draft class.
But 29 other teams will look to add the right prospect for their respective needs. Let's take a look at how you can watch the selection process and whom each team might select in the first round:

Matthews isn't considered the unanimous first pick. Winger Patrik Laine put together a solid season in the Finnish league as an 18-year-old, racking up 33 points in 46 games.
At 6'4", he is a large presence who could play on a first line and beat you in every way possible. He has soft hands, speed, power and a ferocious shot. It makes him the only player in the draft comparable to Matthews.
Matthews is two inches shorter, but he makes up for the size lost to Laine with his net-front presence. He can score from all angles, which will be invaluable to an NHL team.
He has the pure goal-scoring game of a Jonathan Toews and the ability to clean up rebounds in front of the net of a John LeClair. Put those two playing styles together and you could have an unstoppable offensive force.
Regardless of who the Maple Leafs take at No. 1 and who falls to the Winnipeg Jets at No. 2, the top two teams should come out as big winners of this year's draft.
