Drake Loses $60K to French Montana for Betting on Warriors in NBA Finals

For his lack of faith in The Land, Drake now owes French Montana 60 grand.

The hip-hop star said so himself via Snapchat on Sunday, when he reminded Drake that he was ready to collect on their NBA Finals wager "'cause you ain't believe in LeBron [James]."

But there are a number of other reasons why Drake may have selected the Golden State Warriors to prevail.

Perhaps it was because No. 23 eliminated the Toronto Raptors team ambassador's squad earlier in the 2016 postseason.

The move may be attributed to Drizzy's well-documented love of reigning championship winners.

Or Drake might have simply preferred home-court advantage.

Regardless, should he hold a grudge against the King for the $60,000 loss, a track expressing those sentiments would more than likely recoup his unwise investment.
