Golden State Warriors fans are hurting.

After watching their team fail to cap off its historic season with an NBA title, Dubs supporters reached out to the only other fanbase that could understand their unique pain: the New England Patriots.

Remember the 2007-08 NFL season? New England went 18-0 before losing to the New York Giants in Super Bowl 42, 17-14.

On Monday, Golden State-themed threads flooded the Pats' Reddit page. Here's one user's response "To all Warriors fans coming in here":

"Shut up, man. We don't like thinking about '07. You're never gonna like thinking about '16. That's just the way it is."
