Spain looks to continue its march toward a third straight European Championship crown when it takes on Croatia on Tuesday in its group-stage finale as a strong +100 favorite at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

Undefeated in its past nine outings, Croatia trails as an underdog on the three-way odds but needs just a single point to clinch a berth in the knockout stage of this year's tournament.

Spain will try to extend its dominance at the European Championship with a 15th straight victory in tournament play as it wraps up its group-stage schedule against Croatia.

La Roja have already assured themselves of a date in the round of 16 after posting clean-sheet victories over the Czech Republic and Turkey. They have now held opponents scoreless in seven straight Euro matches going into Tuesday's game at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.

However, the Spaniards will be eager to come away from their clash with Croatia with at least a draw, ensuring them of a first-place finish atop the Group D table and a round-of-16 matchup with a still-to-be-determined third-place finisher.

Spain has played like the defending champion so far in tournament action, wearing down the Czechs before finding the net in the 87th minute in a 1-0 win before crushing Turkey in its last outing, scoring "twice in thrice" in the 34th and 37th minutes en route to a 3-0 victory.

Croatia has faced a tougher road through the group stage, eking out a 1-0 win over Turkey after coming close with three shots off the crossbar. It was unable to maintain a late 2-0 lead over the Czech Republic, surrendering two markers in the final 15 minutes following an unwelcome crowd disruption, settling for a 2-2 draw.

Depending on the outcome of Tuesday's other Group D matchup between Turkey and the Czech Republic, a loss could put Croatia at risk of elimination.

However, with a single point earned against Spain, Croatia would nail down second spot, setting the stage for a round-of-16 matchup with Group E winner Italy. Croatia is undefeated against the Italians in the modern era, with its sole loss coming in a 1942 friendly.

With Croatia surrendering just four total goals over its past nine contests, responsible defense will likely be central to the squad's game plan, but it may not be enough against the defending champions.

Spain vs. Croatia Prediction: 2-0 Spain
