Rio 2016 Unveils Olympic and Paralympic Medals

The Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee released images of the gold, silver and bronze medals for the upcoming Summer Games on Tuesday. 

The announcement also included a short video on how the medals are made: 

The Olympic Games will be held August 5-21, and the Paralympic Games will follow from September 7-18.
