For LeBron, it was almost certainly one of the best games of his career, as he also added 16 rebounds and seven assists on to his point total.

Irving dropped dagger after dagger to squelch a Warriors comeback attempt in the fourth quarter, his biggest shots being a three-pointer to put the Cavaliers up 109-96 late.

Kyrie went 17-of-24 from the floor, draining triples, mid-range jumpers and making bank shots at will.

The Cleveland duo overshadowed a great performance by Klay Thompson, who dropped 37 points, 26 of those coming in the first half.

Golden State was playing without Draymond Green, who was suspended for Game 5 after hitting James in the groin area in Game 4.

The Warriors also lost Andrew Bogut, who sprained his knee in the third quarter.

Golden State did make 14 three-pointers, but it shot just 36.4 percent overall.

Cleveland shot 53 percent.
