Jared Dudley is always watching.

On Monday, a person running a Washington, D.C., sports page boldly proclaimed he could beat the veteran guard, who played for the Wizards in 2015-16, in a game of one-on-one:

Another page responded, and it got back to the soon-to-be free agent.

He's ready:

This isn't the first time a player has accepted a challenge that the fan probably didn't expect them to even notice. Trevor Ariza appeared ready to fight a heckler after the Houston Rockets' season ended, but (thankfully) nothing came of it.

Dudley doesn't seem ready to come to blows, but throwing $5,000 on the game—and spotting five points—is no joke.

Here's hoping there's video—if the showdown ever happens. Per the fan, it doesn't look promising:

Only time will tell if these two ever go at it on the court.
