Ivan Cole, MMA Fighter, Dies at Age 25

Mixed martial arts fighter Ivan Cole was found dead Saturday, per the Dallas Police Department.

CBS Dallas/Fort Worth reported the 25-year-old was playing Russian roulette with a gun prior to his death.

According to the BBC, Cole's wife, Kymberli, set up a GoFundMe page on which she attributed "gun play" as Cole's cause of death.

"He made a bad decision that cost him his life," she wrote.

The Dallas PD announced it will classify Cole's death as "unexplained" until a full autopsy is completed.

Cole most recently fought for Bellator, losing to George Pacurariu at Bellator 135 on March 27, 2015. Before that, he also spent time with Extreme Fighting Championship and Legacy Fighting Championship, among other organizations. He was 2-3 in his five professional fights.
