Johnny Manziel Gets Served Lawsuit Papers While Leaving Hotspot

While leaving Los Angeles hotspot The Nice Guy on Wednesday night, former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel was served lawsuit documents.

As noted by TMZ, Johnny Football is being sued for allegedly destroying "thousands of dollars in property" by partying at a Hollywood mansion he rented in April.

The former Cleveland Browns signal-caller got hit right in the chest with the papers, which initially fell on the ground. Manziel grabbed them and kept on moving. "We'll deal with that at a different time," he said after arriving at a different spot. "It'll all work itself out, I promise you that."

On Wednesday, Manziel's lawyer Jim Darnell told ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler that his client is focused on getting back onto the field. "His immediate plans are to start getting ready for football," Darnell said. "We're working on it."
