Jiri Horak's Friends Don't Realize He Lost World Series of Poker Event, Go Wild

Thomas DuffyJun 8, 2016

What Jiri Horak’s friends lack in attention to detail, they make up for in passion.

During Wednesday’s World Series of Poker “Colossus II” event, Horak’s pals didn’t realize he just lost to Ben Keeline, so they celebrated with Horak as if he had won.

Horak seemed well aware of the outcome, but it took his crew much longer to realize—even as Horak apparently tried to explain.

The flop starts at the 58-second mark.

He still came away with $618,000, per CardPlayer.com, which reported that "Colossus II" received the second-most entries in live tournament history.
