Doug Marrone Attempts to Rap at Jaguars Practice

Laura DeptaJun 7, 2016

Jacksonville Jaguars assistant coach Doug Marrone does not appear to be a gifted rapper, but hey, at least he's trying. He might be spitting all over his players, but again, he's trying.

Marrone, who was mic'd up at a Jags practice on Monday, belted out tunes like "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry and "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash, according to Conor Orr of NFL.com.

The Bronx native also alerted his players to this little nugget: "Rap is a New York City thing."

No word on the motivating powers of Marrone's musical stylings, but Jags practice sure looks like a good time.
