This will be the first time Andrade Almas will be appearing at a TakeOver special, but this won't be the first time he is competing at a big event.

Almas, formerly known as La Sombra, has been successful in both CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling, winning several tournaments and championships in both singles and tag team divisions.

He is still new to the WWE Universe, but he has been in the business for almost 10 years, so he isn't some rookie learning the ropes.

Dillinger is looking to gain some momentum, and since he is the more established of the two in NXT, there is a good chance he walks away from TakeOver with the win.

Now that we have the least important match out of the way, let's go through the other four bouts and make some predictions.

Aries and Nakamura are two of NXT's newest stars, and both of them are going into this event undefeated and looking to impress William Regal enough to be granted a shot at the NXT Championship.

This will be the first time these two veterans will ever face each other in singles competition, so everyone is going to be watching to see who leaves with the victory.

Aries is a great talent who can do just about anything in the ring, but Nakamura seems to be a bigger priority for management based on booking.

Aries faced Corbin in his debut match, while Nakamura fought Sami Zayn in his first outing. Corbin is no slouch, but there is no denying Zayn is the bigger star.

This one could go either way, but the favorite heading into this bout is Nakamura. It just feels like WWE has bigger plans for the Japanese Superstar in the immediate future.

As far as the title matches are concerned, the outcomes are a little easier to predict. Let's start with the tag title bout.

Chad Gable and Jason Jordan are riding a wave of momentum after defeating Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder for the Tag Team Championships at TakeOver: Dallas.

It doesn't look good for The Revival, seeing as they just lost a match to Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano on June 1. Do you think they would be booked to lose to a newer team right before regaining the tag titles? If Jordan and Gable don't retain, I'll eat my hat.

The showdown between Asuka and Jax is a little harder to predict, but the likely outcome is Asuka retaining the Women's Championship.

This doesn't necessarily mean she will win. Jax could end up winning by count-out or disqualification, which would mean the title wouldn't change hands.

Another possibility is Jax being disqualified for receiving help from Eva Marie or some kind of double count-out situation.

NXT title reigns tend to be on the longer side, and since Asuka only won the belt on April 1 in Dallas, it's safe to assume she will leave TakeOver: The End with her reign intact.

All of these bouts look good on paper, but the one everyone is looking forward to is the main event. Finn Balor will attempt to regain the NXT Championship from Samoa Joe in the first NXT cage match.

Their encounter in Dallas was brutal and bloody, so the pressure is on for these two incredible talents to outdo their previous performance.

If Balor can get the win, he will be the first two-time NXT champion in the history of the promotion, but his odds of winning all depend on what WWE has planned for him.

If management is looking to bring him up to the main roster, Balor's chances of defeating The Samoan Submission Machine go way down.

As stated above, NXT title reigns typically last a long time, so it would be shocking to see Joe win the title only to lose it two months later.

The Demon will put up a good fight, and he will probably take a bump from the top of the cage, but at the end of the night, Joe is the safe bet to walk out as champion.

Here is a quick recap of the predictions for TakeOver: The End:

  • Dillinger will defeat Almas
  • American Alpha will defeat The Revival
  • Nakamura will defeat Aries
  • Asuka will retain the Women's Championship, but she may not win the match
  • Samoa Joe will retain the NXT Championship against Finn Balor

We could always see another match added at the last minute, but as of now, these are the five bouts we know will take place.

Bleacher Report will have live coverage of NXT TakeOver: The End, so make sure to come back Wednesday night for updates of all the action. What are your predictions for each contest?
