LeBron James tried to equip his team with the proper protection before the playoffs began.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star gave his teammates life-sized, hand-crafted shields with personalized inscriptions before the team started its run to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances, according to Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes.
"For me, I appreciated it," forward Channing Frye told Haynes. "It just showed his thought process not just about the game, but about the mental aspect of everybody being on the same page."
