Belmont Stakes 2016: Latest News, Live Stream, TV Info for Post Positions Draw
There won't be a Triple Crown winner this year, but the Belmont Stakes could still provide an intriguing spectacle for horse racing fans.
Nyquist and Exaggerator, respectively, hindered each other's chances at winning the Triple Crown and following in the footsteps of American Pharoah.
Ticket prices for this year's Belmont are reportedly taking a nose dive, as officials are trying everything they can to get the public to attend this race that doesn't carry much meaning, particularly with Nyquist not running.
First thing's first is determining where the horses will line up. That will take place on Wednesday with the Belmont Stakes draw at Rockefeller Center in New York.

Latest Updates
According to Matthew Rocco from Fox Business, ticket prices for the Belmont are dropping due to the lack of a storyline heading into Saturday.
Rocco noted median ticket prices since May 20 have gone from $69 down to $25 as of Monday. That's a steep drop compared to last year. The median ticket price was at $58 last year before American Pharoah shocked the world and won the Triple Crown.
Horse racing's Triple Crown is built on the success of those three races, and there's no allure for the race if there's no threat to capture the Triple Crown.
There are at least 12 horses running in the race, according to the Belmont Stakes' official website, including Preakness winner Exaggerator. Some other notable familiar names include: Cherry Wine, Brody's Cause and Lani.
A familiar field should normally mean the same results. If that's the case, Exaggerator is the favorite to come out on top.
