Jose Mourinho Reportedly Set to Buy Welsh Castle After Manchester United Move

Jose Mourinho, the new king of Manchester United, was seen sat in his Old Trafford castle on Sunday for the first time since being appointed the club’s manager, as he sampled the Soccer Aid 2016 fixture at his new home.

It’s a scenario the Portuguese manager is reportedly set to bring to life.

AS has reported the new Red Devils boss is set to move into a castle in Ruthin, north Wales, with his family after purchasing the luxurious venue this week.

The property, worth a reported £3.9 million, is said to have four floors, six bedrooms and five bathrooms, and is on 17 hectares of land. Mourinho will reportedly move his family to the Welsh fortress from London as he begins his quest to take United back to the summit of English football.

The former Chelsea manager is renowned for cultivating an “us-against-the-world” mentality within his players. At least if that scenario manifests in a literal sense, the 53-year-old now has a venue to offer ample protection.
