Raul Will Return for Real Madrid vs. AFC Ajax in 2016 Corazon Classic Match
Real Madrid legend Raul will represent the club once more when he takes part in Sunday's Corazon Classic Match with Ajax.
That's according to Marca's Pablo Polo (adapted by Sarah Farrell), who noted the match—the seventh time this friendly has been held—will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at 5 p.m. BST on Sunday.
The striker made almost 750 appearances for Los Blancos in 16 glittering seasons with the club. The retired forward will wear the No. 7 shirt once again, with the current wearer of that number, Cristiano Ronaldo, having given his "blessing."

This year, the exhibition will serve as a tribute to the late Johan Cruyff, who played for and managed Ajax during his illustrious career, and proceeds will go to the Spanish charity Caritas, which provides a care program for the homeless.

According to Javier Garcia on Real's official website, club president Florentino Perez said: "Real Madrid is committed to solidarity and the values that place us side by side with the most vulnerable people in our society. The Classic Match is becoming a tradition in a stadium full of commitment."
Real promoted the match by sharing some of the best goals the Corazon Classic has produced over the years:
Raul will be just one of a number of legends taking part this time around.
The likes of Roberto Carlos and Luis Figo will also be turning out in Madrid's famous all white once again, while Marc Overmars and Edwin van der Sar will be among the Ajax legends. Clarence Seedorf, who played for both teams during his career, will represent both.
Per Polo, Van der Sar said: "It's an honour for Ajax to play against a team which have won so many titles. We had a good team in the 1970s and it will be an honour to play here again. We are looking forward to it very much."
With so many legendary figures taking part for both sides, there is an extra layer of excitement to a match that is already sure to be an enjoyable spectacle.
