On Saturday, retired NFL running back Marshawn Lynch was in attendance at the SAP Center for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final between the host San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Lynch grew up in Oakland, so of course he was rooting for the Sharks, who trailed 0-2 in the series entering Game 3, to get one in the win column.

His San Jose jersey also featured No. 24, the digits he wore during parts of six standout seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

After hyping up some fans, Lynch opened the door for the team, which has become a Sharks ritual:
