Kevin Love and Klay Thompson Were Little League Teammates in 2001
In 2001, Kevin Love and Klay Thompson were Little League teammates.
Think about that—two future NBA All-Stars who are currently dueling in the Finals once played on the same youth baseball club in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
The fantastic throwback picture comes courtesy of the Oregonian's Jen Beyrle, who posted it before Game 1 on Thursday.

Thompson is kneeling on the bottom left. Love, not surprisingly, is the big fella in the back.
"I was afraid for the pitcher!" Mychal Thompson, Klay’s dad, told Daniel Brown of the Bay Area News Group about Love. "He was the most intimidating Little League player you've ever seen."
The former Los Angeles Laker's description of his son is equally impressive.
"He looked like a right-handed Clayton Kershaw. I do not exaggerate. I always tell him, 'You could have been a first-round pick as a pitcher.'"
It should be noted that Klay’s brother, Trayce, is making a name for himself as an outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers this season.
Per Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Klay Thompson hasn't changed much since those days, according to Love:
Imagine facing that Little League team. Those kids were probably a force.
