Pierre-Paul Continues to Recover from Hand Surgeries
Pierre-Paul was limited to eight appearances a season ago following a July 4 fireworks accident that resulted in his right index finger getting amputated. But despite the gruesome nature of the injury, Pierre-Paul was able to record a sack and defend six passes while recording 26 tackles as a rotational presence off the edge.
The Giants proceeded to sign Pierre-Paul to a one-year deal worth up to $10.5 million that included $8.5 million guaranteed, per Spotrac.
Pierre-Paul has started all five games so far this season, recording one sack and 18 tackles, but the Giants enter Week 6 having lost three consecutive games.
