No. 1 Novak Djokovic def. No. 13 Dominic Thiem 6-2, 6-1, 6-4. No. 2 Andy Murray def. No. 3 Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2

No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 2 Andy Murray set up a major showdown in the French Open men's final with victories in the semifinals on Friday at Roland Garros. 

Djokovic cruised to his fourth French Open championship with a three-set win over No. 13 Dominic Thiem. The only difficulty Djokovic faced came at the start of the third set, when Thiem won three consecutive games.

Murray faced a bigger challenge to reach his first French Open final. The No. 2 seed downed defending champion No. 3 Stanislas Wawrinka in four sets. Wawrinka looked strong toward the end of the third set, but Murray used an early break in the fourth set to grab control of the contest once again.

Djokovic and Murray will square off in the men's final on Sunday at Philippe Chatrier Court.
