Warriors Take Out Thunder, Toughest 2016 Postseason Opponent Yet

The Golden State Warriors are where many thought they would be at this point—back in the NBA Finals. But the road certainly hasn't been a cakewalk.

The Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2016 NBA playoffs with a 4-1 series win. 

The gritty Portland Trail Blazers were up next, and another 4-1 series victory for the Warriors was actually closer than that line would indicate.

And yet no opponent was tougher for the defending NBA champions than the Oklahoma City Thunder. It took seven games to get past the talented squad in the Western Conference Finals.
