Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Piotr Zielinski, Mahmoud Dahoud Rumours
Liverpool have reportedly revived their interest in Udinese playmaker Piotr Zielinski, but they'll have to fight off competition from Serie A giants Napoli. Plus, the Reds will "go all out" to land Borussia Monchengladbach's Mahmoud Dahoud.
According to Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italia), Napoli are the "new favourites" to sign Zielinski, while Borussia Dortmund have also been linked to the player, who could cost up to €12 million (£9.1 million).

Zielinski spent the last two seasons on loan at Empoli, where he worked under Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri during the 2014-15 campaign, and a Naples reunion may await the pair this summer.
Last week, Italian outlet Forza Italia (h/t Sport Witness) reported Liverpool had offered €10 million (£7.6 million) for Zielisnki's signature. The story also quoted his agent, Bartolomiej Bolek, who said Liverpool may miss out on the 22-year-old: “Is the Liverpool move at risk? Yes, maybe.”

That report also mentioned Zielinski was pictured wearing a Liverpool shirt earlier this summer, sparking speculation he would link up with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp on Merseyside.
However, after familiarising himself with Serie A and dazzling in 66 first-team appearances for Empoli, Zielinski could favour a move to the Stadio San Paolo over a Premier League switch.
Bleacher Report's Jack Lusby also recently provided images of Zielinski during his time in Bayer Leverkusen's academy, where he played alongside current Liverpool forward Samed Yesil:
According to Goal's Melissa Reddy, Liverpool will look to Gladbach's Dahoud as their primary midfield target, with the playmaker also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and Dortmund.
Bleacher Report's Clark Whitney recently opened up on the Germany under-21 international's optimal use, with the Reds hoping to recruit a creative presence who can also lend a hand in attack:
Syria-born Dahoud seems to fit those requirements as a cheaper, easier-to-get alternative to Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze, whom Reddy reported is unlikely to agree a move to Anfield.
Dahoud scored five goals and recorded nine assists in 32 Bundesliga outings for Gladbach last season, but following Granit Xhaka's move to Arsenal last week, the German side may not be willing to lose another central talent.
