Spain vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina: 2016 Friendly Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream

James DudkoMay 28, 2016

Spain will fine tune their preparations for this summer's UEFA Euro 2016 by hosting a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina at the AFG Arena in Switzerland on Sunday.

Manager Vicente del Bosque may hand playing time to a host of intriguing, previously uncapped players, since he can't call on Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid stars because of their UEFA Champions League final commitments.

But the veteran coach will also be wary of the quality of a Bosnia squad boasting talents such as AS Roma team-mates Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko.

Athletic Bilbao winger Inaki Williams is one uncapped player hoping to get on the pitch for Spain, according to FourFourTwo: "I am very proud, I have worked very hard to get here. Now it is time to reward all those people who trusted me."

Williams is an exciting talent thanks to blistering pace and a keen eye for the goal, evidenced by 13 goals across all competitions last season, per WhoScored.com. The 21-year-old can offer Spain more of a direct threat in the final third with his willingness to take on defenders.

Yet, this is still a team that craves the ball and dominates possession. That's bad news for crafty schemer Pjanic, who can damage any defence if he's allowed to dictate things in the middle. But he's likely to find it tough to see the ball against a Spanish midfield that can make efficient pass-and-move football an art form.

Even with Real and Atleti playmakers Isco and Koke missing out, Del Bosque still has quality pass-masters at his disposal. In particular, Premier League pair David Silva and Cesc Fabregas, along with Barcelona's Andres Iniesta, are sure to weave some typically intricate patterns in the final third.

Even with reduced numbers, Spain should be just too much to handle for a Bosnia team that is still very capable technically in its own right. Going against an open side willing to attack will afford Spain the space to play and hone their own forward game.

It's ideal preparation as the nation bids to win a third-straight European Championship.

Expect to see a lot of neat and attractive football with plenty of chances created by both sides en route to a comfortable win for the Spanish.
