Chelsea have reportedly been in "regular contact" with Paul Pogba's representatives as they seek a summer deal for the Juventus star, but the Blues' pursuit of Milan starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma looks like it's reached its end.

According to Get French Football News, Chelsea are in "constant contact" with Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, in their hopes of sealing a summer deal that could set them back £80 million (h/t Daily Star's Colin Harvey).

Italy manager Antonio Conte will take his place at the Stamford Bridge helm this summer, and a potential reunion with former Juventus charge Pogba has been one of the most fervent rumours of late.

The duo won back-to-back Serie A titles during their time together in Turin, with Pogba having recently added a fourth successive Scudetto to his trophy cabinet under incumbent Massimiliano Allegri.

It's hardly a surprise Conte may therefore look to revive that partnership in west London, and when considering the funds at Chelsea's disposal and Pogba's Premier League past, the move may not be deemed impossible.

That being said, GianlucaDiMarzio.com translator David Amoyal recently proclaimed the relationship between player and manager will have no impact on whether Pogba makes his way to Stamford Bridge:

The ex-Manchester United marvel already has experience in England, and despite his success in Italy, it's mentioned in Harvey's report that Pogba has "accepted it is time to move," presumably to take his career to the next level.

Chelsea aren't the only English giant getting a shiny new manager this summer, though, and inbound Manchester City chief Pep Guardiola is also lurking, according to James Robson of the Manchester Evening News:

Another Serie A ace on the Blues' radar is Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma, but the Daily Mail reported the Rossoneri wonderkid prefers to remain at the San Siro for at least another 12 months (h/t Daily Star's Luke Gardener).

Still just 17 years of age, Donnarumma has established himself as a first-team regular with Milan this season, and Unibet recently put his young years into context during the Coppa Italia final:

It's suggested Chelsea were keen on a move for Donnarumma if they decided to sell Belgium international Thibaut Courtois, whose performances slipped dramatically alongside many other Blues this past season.

Donnarumma made 31 appearances for Milan's senior side this season and is arguably the greatest teenage goalkeeping prospect in Europe, but Chelsea seemingly won't be landing his signature this summer.
