Liverpool Transfer News: Piotr Zielinski Deal Reportedly 'At Risk,' Top Rumours
Liverpool's deal for Piotr Zielinski is reportedly "at risk" of breaking down after Udinese demanded more than the Reds have offered.
According to Forza Roma's Melania Giovannetti (h/t Sport Witness), Liverpool have offered €10 million, but the Serie A outfit want "around €13 million" for the midfielder, and Zielinski's agent confirmed the move could be in jeopardy.
"Is the Liverpool move at risk? Yes, maybe," Bartolomiej Bolek said.

The Reds are eager to add midfield reinforcements, and according to Sport Witness, they're also interested in Borussia Monchengladbach's Mahmoud Dahoud.
Both players have enjoyed fine seasons in their respective leagues, so it's unsurprising the pair have garnered attention ahead of the summer transfer window. Here's a look at how their numbers compare, according to Squawka:
| Apps | 35 | 32 |
| Mins Played | 3025 | 2073 |
| Goals | 5 | 5 |
| Assists | 4 | 8 |
| Chances Created | 52 | 31 |
| Pass Completion | 82% | 84% |
| Successful Take-ons | 89 | 32 |
| Tackles Won | 54 | 46 |
| Interceptions | 49 | 52 |
As his stats reveal, Zielinski is a strong all-round performer—a box-to-box midfielder who can contribute defensively and going forward and is an excellent dribbler to boot.
Per GianlucaDiMarzio's Joseph Musker, the 22-year-old was WhoScored.com's highest-rated young performer in Serie A this season and has reciprocated Liverpool's interest:
Further, per Musker, he was recently pictured in a Reds shirt, which has only served to fuel speculation he could be set to move to Anfield this summer:
Similarly, Dahoud has produced a number of eye-catching performances this year thanks to his tireless running, excellent ball-winning skills and wonderful distribution.
Football journalists Raphael Honigstein and Rafael Hernandez are huge admirers of the 20-year-old:
Unfortunately for Dahoud's suitors, his midfield partner Granit Xhaka has been in even more demand this summer and was snapped up by Arsenal on Wednesday, per the Gunners' official website.
His departure will almost certainly see Gladbach resist any interest in Dahoud this summer at least, lest they lose two key midfielders in the same window.
Honigstein anticipates as much:
Zielinski remains available, though, and though a little older than Dahoud, he's still an exciting prospect with room to develop at Liverpool.
Though Udinese may want more than the Reds have currently put on the table, €13 million is still a reasonable price for a player of his current ability and potential to improve.
