England vs. Turkey: Goals, Highlights from International Friendly

England's preparations for UEFA Euro 2016 commenced at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, when Roy Hodgson's Three Lions took on Fatih Terim's Turkey. 

It took only three minutes for England to find the breakthrough, when Dele Alli fed Harry Kane. However, the striker looked marginally offside:

In the 13th minute, Hakan Calhanoglu converted the equaliser, marking Turkey's first goal against England at the 11th time of asking:

Terim was particularly unhappy with the offside nature of Kane's strike, apparently showing a replay to the fourth official on his phone:

Jamie Vardy, meanwhile, was so unhappy with a missed chance before the break that he chose to punch himself in the face:

In the 74th minute, Vardy went to ground and won a penalty. Kane stepped up and duly put it wide of the post:

Seven minutes from time, Vardy put England in the lead for the second time, when he capitalised on some questionable defending during a corner:

It finished 2-1 to England, but it could have been a different story if Joe Hart hadn't pulled off a fantastic reflex save in injury time:
