Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Grzegorz Krychowiak and More Rumours
Manchester United are reportedly set to move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak after losing out to Bayern Munich in the race for Portugal's Renato Sanches. Plus, the Red Devils will battle Manchester City to sign Leroy Sane.
The Sun's Mike McGrath reported United plan to lure the £30 million-rated Krychowiak as an alternative to Sanches, who is set to leave Benfica for the Allianz Arena at the end of this season.

The Premier League powerhouse is prepared to let Michael Carrick leave this summer after choosing not to offer him a new deal at Old Trafford, while Morgan Schneiderlin's future with the club is also uncertain.
McGrath's report mentioned the club plans to reinforce its midfield irrespective of whether manager Louis van Gaal remains at the helm. Dan Roan and Simon Stone of BBC Sport reported on Saturday that Jose Mourinho is set to take over.
Krychowiak recently helped guide Sevilla to their third successive UEFA Europa League crown—his second since moving to the club in 2014—backing up his reputation as one of the finest anchors on the continent.
Yahoo's Andrew Gaffney recently spoke of the Poland international as being among an elite bracket of players in his position:
The midfielder boasted an average passing accuracy of 84.3 per cent in 25 Primera Division starts this season and also led Sevilla in interceptions per game, averaging 4.5 per outing, according to WhoScored.com.
United have had to deal with Bastian Schweinsteiger's injury woes during his stuttered maiden campaign in England, and captain Wayne Rooney has retreated further into a midfield role of late.

Schneiderlin's failure to fit in at the Theatre of Dreams has also left some scratching their heads following his fine form at Southampton, and Krychowiak could provide an upgrade in that sector of the field.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the 26-year-old, and Krychowiak spoke positively of the English top flight when FourFourTwo asked him about his chances of a Premier League switch (h/t Goal):
"The Premier League? Some say it’s the best in the world, other people think that’s La Liga. I've heard about Arsenal, but I leave it to my agent. I trust him and he's the one who deals with that kind of the stuff.
I can’t think about things like that. I have to keep my mind free of any distraction and just focus on doing my job for Sevilla.
"
Elsewhere, the Mirror's Liam Corless has reported it will come down to United or City in the race for Schalke wonderkid Leroy Sane, citing the Daily Star, which claimed inbound Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is "desperate" to land the winger.
The Red Devils' wide areas have been severely lacking in pace this season, as Memphis Depay has struggled to adapt in England, and it's tipped to be one of the Manchester giants who lands Sane's signature, valued at £35 million.
