Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly Rumours
Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku could be closing in on a £65 million return to Stamford Bridge after the Everton striker revealed he's decided upon his next destination. Plus, the Blues are stepping up their interest in Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.
It's been speculated Lukaku will leave Goodison Park this summer in search of a greater challenge, and the Belgium international was cryptic when asked whether he was heading back to former club Chelsea, per MailOnline's Simon Jones: "In my mind I've already taken a decision about my future. We will see."
Asked about rejoining the Blues, he replied: "We'll see. I keep it for me. A lot of clubs are interested, some of which are already very concrete for five years."

The 23-year-old has just over three years left to run on the Everton contract he signed upon moving to Merseyside in 2014, but after running to an 11th-place finish in the Premier League, his time at the club could be done.
Lukaku's father, Roger, recently spoke to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws and talked up his son's chances of moving to one of Europe's giants (h/t Sky Sports):
"He's ready. I see that there is interest from Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United.I think he must choose Manchester United or Bayern Munich. Manchester United is a team under construction with no real focus.
Bayern Munich is a machine where he can rotate well. The only condition is if Robert Lewandowski leaves.
"
It seems only too clear Lukaku Sr. would like to see his son depart Goodison Park, but the £65 million Everton are reportedly seeking for the player they acquired for less than half that fee could be a sticking point.
The Toffees brought Lukaku in for £28 million, and although some baulked at the sum two years ago, he's gone on to prove himself as worthy of the price tag, as illustrated by Squawka Dave:
Altogether, the striker has scored 61 goals in 127 appearances for Everton after failing to score in just 15 first-team games for Chelsea, whom he left after failing to crack their senior ranks in a three-year spell.
Inbound manager Antonio Conte will have to make a decision on Diego Costa's future before he can sign Lukaku, and Kristof Terreur of Het Laatste Nieuws shed further light on why the latter is valued so highly:
At the other end of the field, Italian outlet Gazzetta World reported Chelsea are lining up an offer for Napoli centre-back Koulibaly that could be worth up to €25 million (£19.3 million).
It's mentioned the Blues would be willing to triple the defender's €800,000 (£619,000) annual salary if he moved to west London. BBC Sport's Oluwashina Okeleji rates Koulibaly highly in terms of African talent:
The 24-year-old played a prominent role in a Napoli defence that conceded just 32 league goals this season, the second-stingiest back line in Serie A behind champions Juventus (20).
Koulibaly also averaged 2.5 tackles and 3.6 clearances per game, according to WhoScored.com, so the Senegal international could fill a defensive void for Chelsea.
