J.R. Smith Says '2K' Inspired His Fadeaway 3-Pointers

As LeBron James said, every player takes some part of their game from someone else.

For J.R. Smith though, it's something else.

While talking to media about the Dikembe Mutombo-inspired finger wag from Bismack Biyombo following the Cleveland Cavaliers' 99-84 loss to the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night, James assumed his teammate's fadeaway threes were inspired by another player.

That's when Smith cut in to clarify. The source of inspiration? NBA 2K.
