The catch? It was the arm of Tristan Thompson, James' teammate, that had smacked him, though DeMarre Carroll appeared to nudge Thompson's arm. Official Ken Mauer looked like he was going to give Carroll a technical foul, but just Cory Joseph and Thompson were called for one.
