No one can accuse Yoenis Cespedes of lacking creativity.

The New York Mets outfielder got in front ofย Gio Gonzalez's fourth-inning base hit by blocking the ball with his chest, bumping it to the ground like a soccer ball toย limit the Washington Nationals pitcher to a single.ย

Gonzalezย was left on base after Ben Revere flew out toย Cespedes on the next at-bat.

The Mets lost, 7-1.
