Yoenis Cespedes Gets in Front of a Hop by Blocking It with His Chest

No one can accuse Yoenis Cespedes of lacking creativity.

The New York Mets outfielder got in front of Gio Gonzalez's fourth-inning base hit by blocking the ball with his chest, bumping it to the ground like a soccer ball to limit the Washington Nationals pitcher to a single.

Gonzalez was left on base after Ben Revere flew out to Cespedes on the next at-bat.

The Mets lost, 7-1.
