Gerard Pique, Espanyol Players Reportedly Brawl After Barcelona La Liga Parade
Barcelona veteran Gerard Pique reportedly took the club's celebrations to the extreme on Sunday after it emerged the defender was involved in a "small brawl" with Espanyol players in a local Catalan pub.
According to 8TV journalist Nuria Cases, Pique approached Real Madrid winger Burgui—on loan at Espanyol—to "reprimand him" for comments he made about the Spain international earlier this season (h/t Sport).

Burgui had back-up in the form of Raul Tamudo and former Barca midfielder Victor Sanchez, while Marc Bartra, Jeremy Mathieu and Neymar flocked to Pique's aid in the Barceloneta pub following Sunday's parade.
According to the report, the scuffle was swiftly dealt with before it could escalate, with Pique apparently incensed after Burgui said the centre-back "leaves a lot to be desired as a person" during a report on television station Cuatro in January, per Sport.

It isn't the first time the former La Masia product has drawn criticism for his actions in recent days, either. Per Goal's Alex Young, Pique mimicked Ronaldo's "Calma Calma" celebration in footage captured by a Lionel Messi fan account on Twitter:

ESPN FC's Musa Okwonga has pointed out Pique's history of mocking his club's rivals:
Having won back-to-back Primera Division titles and now aiming to do the same in the Copa del Rey, Pique hasn't had to deal much with humility in defeat over recent years.
That being said, for a man who has spent the vast majority of his life in Barcelona colours, the club stalwart may look to improve his graciousness in victory, especially if Barca continue to rake in silverware on their current trajectory.
