Warriors VP of PR Tricks Luke Walton into Thinking Lakers Lost Lottery Pick

This is what Luke Walton gets for leaving the Golden State Warriors.

Before Tuesday's NBA draft lottery, Dubs vice president of public relations Raymond Ridder tricked the future Los Angeles Lakers head coach into thinking L.A. had lost its top-three-protected pick, per Bill Oram of the Orange County Register:

Unlike Dikembe Mutombo, Ridder was wrong.

The Lakers landed the second overall selection, which will likely net either Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram.
