Bill Simmons Advocates for 4-Point Line, Banning DHs in New HBO Show Promo

Four-point lines, tug-of-war's legitimacy as an Olympic sport and the genius of Kanye West: Bill Simmons believes in them all.

But that's just scratching the surface.

In a recent promotional clip for Simmons' upcoming television show, Any Given Wednesday, the sports blogger-turned-HBO host rattles off a variety of other things he believes in (a la Crash Davis in Bull Durham):

NBA championship belts? LeBron James is way ahead of him.

Divine intervention in the 2004 American League Championship Series? David Ortiz is likely tempted to agree—although almost assuredly not about banning designated hitters. 

Through Any Given Wednesday, the man who has never been short on things to say has been granted an uncensored forum to speak his mind, and if this teaser is any indication, he plans to make ample use of it.
