Matt Brown Gets Booed at UFC 198 Weigh-In, Flips Fans the Bird

Showing up for UFC 198 weigh-ins in Brazil was a little bit like bringing a knife to a gunfight for Matt Brown.

The American welterweight will take on Brazilian fighter Demian Maia in the featured preliminary fight Saturday night, but before the two-step into the Octagon, Brown had to face his opponent's fans.

Brown was booed loudly during his weigh-in Friday, but he played into the reception, turning his back to the crowd as he was weighed before flipping them the bird with both hands.

In case anyone was wondering, fans have not warmed up to Brown since the weigh-in:

Upon his entrance to the arena Saturday night, fans booed and grabbed at the fighter, provoking a reaction. A few even returned his bird from Friday.
