Russell Westbrook Delivers Ultimate Staredown After Burying 3-Pointer vs. Spurs

Thomas DuffyMay 12, 2016

Russell Westbrook entered Thursday night’s Game 6 shooting 27.6 percent from deep against the San Antonio Spurs.

But don’t tell him that.

With 2:08 left in the first half at Chesapeake Energy Arena, the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar caught a transition pass from Kevin Durant, spotted up and buried the triple.

Then came the staredown.

It’s unclear if Westbrook was glaring at anyone in particular or if he was just drinking in what had become a 47-29 lead with a Western Conference Finals berth near.

Either way, OKC went into halftime leading 55-31 thanks in part to its uber-intense point guard.
