- Somerset CCC
- Sussex Sharks

- Wayamba Elevens
From the above twelve mentioned teams, there is a huge number of world class international super stars that will be displayed.
Lets look at possible players that could star at this years event.
AB de Villiers (Delhi Daredevils) SR 132.05
A player that needs no introduction, in the last few years AB has grown into a world class top order batsman both for South Africa and his local team Nashua Titans.
de Villiers has become one of the world's best fielders as he has taken over from the likes of Jonty Rhodes and Herschelle Gibbs.
His ability to play himself in and build a foundation to explode at the death of an innings makes his an excellent candidate for t20 cricket.
Adam Gilchrist (Deccan Chargers) SR 114.07
Now retired from International duties, Gilchrist is an amazing striker of the ball, fearless is the word to describe him. Opening the innings, he gives his team an excellent foundation for the middle and last overs.
In the IPL he was partnered with Gibbs, but since Gibbs will be representing the Cobras, Gilchrist will most probably open with Rohit Sharma whose another explosive Indian batsman.
Mahela Jayawardene (Wayamba Elevens) SR. 129.35
The Sri Lankan will be playing for his local team which poses a number of International stars. His recent form both in the triangular series and the Champions Trophy has been worth watching.
A master of inventing strokes both in front and behind the wicket, Mahela has the ability to up the tempo and take the game away from the opposition.
As a former international captain, he has remarkable leadership qualities. Something that's required when you up against the best in the world.
The tournament which will start on the 8th until the 23 will boast many Indian and International stars, but will be without the likes of Sachin Tandulkar, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh.
Nevertheless those that are participating will look to impress and showcase a world class event.
Just a few bowlers that pop out of the list on those Indian pitches might be:
- Roelof van de Merwe
- Charl Langerveltd
- Ptragyan Ojha
- Ajantha Mendis
- Danniel Vettori
We can look forward to another action packed two weeks of amazing talent at hand, big hitting is a definite.
Some of the Biggest hitters of the game will try an attempt to get their names of the "Six Column". Just to mention a few of them:
- Brendon McCullum
- Herschelle Gibbs
- V. Sehwag
- David Warner
- Ross Taylor
- David Hussey
Now that we know whose playing, and what's what...lets wait for the Champions Trophy to come to a close, and let the fireworks begin.
