Dana Brooke and Emma are back together again, and this time it's on the main roster.
While Becky Lynch was being interviewed backstage on WWE Monday Night Raw, Emma came to interrupt her rival before Dana attacked Lynch from behind, via WWE:
Dana and Emma were a mainstay tandem in NXT, with Dana accompanying Emma to the ring many times. Now, it looks like they'll bring that NXT magic to Raw.
The 27-year-old former bodybuilder made her NXT television debut in April 2015. She and Emma joined forces the next month, and the two were the first to work with NXT Women's champion Asuka when she made her NXT debut in August 2015.
Since then, Brooke has been in and out of the NXT picture, especially since WWE called Emma back up to the main roster before April's WrestleMania 32.
The new women's revolution WWE is going for has seemed to hit a snag since the epic Triple Threat match at WrestleMania between Lynch, Sasha Banks and Charlotte. Sasha has appeared on TV only once since that time, while Lynch and Charlotte are in respective feuds with Emma and Natalya.
Now Dana is on the main roster, while Bayley is still waiting for her call-up. With Dana being inconsistent on TV, it begs the question of whether she's ready right now, as Ryan Dilbert of Bleacher Report noted:
Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report also thinks it's not Dana's time:
With Dana and Emma back together, it doesn't seem like WWE has a plan for Dana other than for her to accompany Emma to the ring again. Perhaps the organization will have a clearer path for her after Emma and Lynch resolve their feud. Right now, having Dana on the main roster over Bayley is another questionable booking decision.
