Al-Farouq Aminu Drains 3, Stares Down Stephen Curry in Blazers Win

Laura DeptaJun 8, 2018

The Portland Trail Blazers pulled within one game of the Golden State Warriors on the back of a stellar, 40-point performance from Damian Lillard in Game 3 Saturday night at the Moda Center.

Lillard went all Stephen Curry on the Dubs, sinking eight of 13 from three-point land in the 120-108 victory.

And yet, it wasn't Lillard who stared down the reigning NBA MVP after draining a three. No, that was Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu, who had a nice night himself, chipping in 23 points, including four treys.

Still, it was a bold move. Curry is sidelined with a knee injury but could return this series—at which point, he might (probably/definitely) make Aminu regret that little taunt.
