Raptors vs. Heat: Game 3 Video Highlights and Recap from 2016 NBA Playoffs
The Toronto Raptors took control of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, grabbing a 2-1 series lead with a 95-91 victory over the Miami Heat on Saturday.
The Raptors stole Game 2 at home to avoid a potential disaster heading to South Beach, but they are still waiting on Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan to play like the All-Stars they were during the regular season.
DeRozan is still struggling with his shot, going just 6-of-17 and finishing with 19 points in Game 3, but Lowry finally looked like his old self. Toronto's point guard finished with 33 points and shooting 5-of-8 from three-point range.
The Heat let Game 2 slip away from them late, but they have never appeared to be out of control at any point in this series. Star center Hassan Whiteside did leave Saturday's game early with a knee injury and didn't return.
With Whiteside on the shelf, Dwyane Wade did all he could to carry the load. He finished with a game-high 38 points and team-high eight rebounds, but Toronto held Goran Dragic in check with 12 points and five turnovers.
