Manchester United Transfer News: Rafa Silva Seeking Move, Marquinhos Rumours
Manchester United's chances of signing Braga sensation Rafa Silva have taken a turn for the better after the winger's agent revealed he's open to a Premier League move. Plus, Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos is reportedly set for showdown talks with his club.
Silva's representative, Antonio Araujo, informed Lucas Sposito of Sport Witness this week that the Braga gem sees a future in England's top flight: “Our client, Rafa Silva, sees with very good eyes the possibility of playing in the Premier League. We are working towards achieving this objective."

There have been recent links between the two parties, and Sposito mentioned a report from Portuguese newspaper A Bola, which claimed managerial target Jose Mourinho has "reserved" Silva should he arrive at United.
It's alleged that Silva has a release clause worth €20 million (£15 million) in his contract, but Metro's Chris Winterburn recently hinted at the Red Devils looking to bring in a more established breed of player this summer:
That being said, splurging on the likes of Angel Di Maria (£59.7 million) and Memphis Depay (£25 million) in the last two summers appears to have proven big sums don't always equate to better results.
Silva, 22, has scored 12 goals and recorded eight assists in 47 matches across all competitions this season, dazzling with his combination of close control and high-speed dribbling off the left flank:
With six Portugal caps already to his name, the trickster could be viewed as a natural replacement for Depay depending on where his future lies. Following United's slim 1-0 win at Norwich City on Saturday, Rob Dawson of the Manchester Evening News said that the Dutchman is "facing [a] fight" at Old Trafford.
The managerial hot seat at United could also play a large role in who stays and who goes, with incumbent Louis van Gaal perhaps tempted to keep the faith in Depay, while Mourinho could seek to add compatriot Silva.

Elsewhere, PSG centre-back Marquinhos is reportedly set for crunch talks with the Ligue 1 champions and will ask to leave the club this summer, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo (h/t Liam Spence of Daily Express).
The 21-year-old has started in 29 of his 39 appearances this season, but he is largely viewed as back-up to Brazilian countrymen Thiago Silva and David Luiz. Spence provided quotes from the disgruntled defender earlier this season:
"My future is in Paris? At the moment, yes. But I can only speak of the present. For now, I'm in Paris. Everyone knows you have to have a reflection at the end of the season. We'll talk about the objectives of the club and of me personally.
Right now, I try to be professional. I try to work to win my place and to have playing time. We'll see how the season will finish. Afterwards, there will be a reflection.
"
The Selecao starlet moved to Paris from Roma in 2013 as one of the most highly rated prospects in Europe and has started in 93 of his 113 total appearances for PSG, an average of 31 starts per season.
United would undoubtedly be willing to offer Marquinhos a place in their starting setup should he seek an exit from Parc des Princes, but they may struggle to tempt the player unless they clinch Champions League qualification this term.
