Barcelona Transfer News: Riyad Mahrez's Agent Speaks Amid Leicester Exit Rumours
Barcelona will have their chance to sign Leicester City talisman Riyad Mahrez this summer after the player's agent admitted that there's a "50-50 chance" his client leaves the King Power Stadium.
According to Mahrez's agent Kamel Bengougam, it's possible that the former Le Havre winger will sign a new contract with the Foxes, but Bengougam refused to rule out the possibility of a transfer, per the Guardian's Ed Aarons:
"Yes of course there is a possibility. When you have been playing the way Riyad has this season it is bound to attract attention. He is very happy with Leicester and of course it has been a fantastic season. They will play in the Champions League next year as well so he would be happy to stay.
But at his age if the opportunity comes to play for a big team then we would have to think about it. I’d say it’s 50/50 at the moment whether he stays or goes.

Leicester finally secured the 2015-16 Premier League title on Monday after Tottenham Hotspur drew at Chelsea, and Mahrez will be viewed by many as the main architect behind their on-pitch success.
Manchester United and Spurs are reportedly two of the clubs that could rival Barcelona in the hunt to sign the Algerian international, but the Spanish titans could be seen as the most enticing prospect of all.

That being said, it won't be lost on Mahrez that the greatest success of his career has come just two years after he moved to England from France, meaning that he could be more favourable toward a Premier League stay.
Barca have reportedly been drawn to Mahrez after seeing him light up the English top flight this season, scoring 17 goals and recording 11 assists, which ESPN FC noted as one of the best tallies in the Premier League:
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique may have space to fill on the wings this summer, too, after Spanish newspaper AS reported that the Blaugrana are prepared to let Arda Turan leave the club (h/t Eren Sarigul of Turkish Football).
Bleacher Report's Rik Sharma highlighted just how little of an impact Turan has made at the Camp Nou since arriving last summer, sensing that perhaps he wouldn't be a missed figure in Catalonia:
Mahrez, on the other hand, could make for a very valuable signature. There has been no talk of a release clause in the player's contract since he made the move to the King Power from Le Havre in 2014 for a fee of just £350,000.
Even if there were a clause in Mahrez's deal, it's unlikely Leicester could have predicted the meteoric rise the player would make in England, meaning it will hardly be outside their spending means.
Mahrez could end up swapping one league champion for another, and England's newly crowned elite will undoubtedly do their utmost to ensure that the silkily skilled wide man remains within their ranks.
But as great as Leicester's achievement has been, Barcelona stand on another plain in Europe's football spectrum, and the temptation to capitalise on their interest could prove too great to pass up.
