Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Felipe Anderson Rumours Amid Inter Talk
Manchester United have received a boost in their bid to sign Lazio attacker Felipe Anderson after his agent denied her client has any deal in place with Serie A giants Inter or Milan.
The Brazil international's sister, Juliana Anderson, also operates as his representative and is reported to have told Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb "there is nothing true" in rumours attaching him to the Milan duo (h/t CalcioMercato).

United have been linked with a move for Anderson in the past, and speculation is once again building as the Premier League suitors approach another summer transfer window expected to spend big.
Anderson spoke to Brazilian outlet UOL in March and confirmed the Red Devils made a move for his services in 2015 but were priced out of completing a €50 million (£39 million) deal, (h/t Goal's Chris Davie):
"Whenever we’re approaching the transfer market there’s a lot of talk about my future.
For two years my name has been linked with several European clubs. I continue to work and think only of Lazio, otherwise I just risk being distracted.
My goal is to do well with Lazio and the Brazil Olympic team, I’m not thinking about anything else.
I want to finish the season well, and I want to show my potential so I can be called-up.
Manchester United? An offer came in last year, Lazio have confirmed that’s the case too. They preferred to keep me though, to have a great season.
Unfortunately we were unable to repeat our achievements of last year, but we’re continuing to work hard, we’ll see what the future holds.
"
Anderson hasn't been as prominent a star for Lazio this season, managing to start in 30 of his 45 appearances across all competitions, although just 16 of those have been for the full 90 minutes.
Nevertheless, blogger Liam Canning said the former Santos star would be an upgrade on any of the players currently under Van Gaal's command:
Old Trafford has been disappointed to see last summer's signing Memphis Depay fail to live up to the lofty expectations following his move from PSV, while Anthony Martial has been one of their bright sparks out wide.
That being said, Anderson operates at his best when playing in a more central, attacking midfield role, meaning the likes of Martial, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera may be seen as his more direct competition.
United's attack has suffered this season, and the team is still making its way back from a mass overhaul in recent years that's seen some established figures sold or released in place of younger models.
Nani was one of those allowed to leave the Theatre of Dreams for pastures new in 2015, and Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News stated the club has failed to find proper replacements for such departures:
Anderson may not be seen as a like-for-like addition, but after scoring nine goals and making five assists in 30 starts for the Eagles in all competitions this season, he may still be looked upon as a move in the right direction.
For the time being, Inter and Milan don't appear an immediate threat, but United may still look to move before the summer Olympics, where Anderson's price tag is at risk of rising should he dazzle in Rio de Janeiro.
