Arsenal Player Ratings vs. Olympiacos: An Impressive 2-0 Win
Arsenal continued their strong run of form with an impressive 2-0 defeat of Greek side Olympiacos in the Champions League. Arsenal entered the game coming off a doughty performance against Fulham. Arsenal were always the better side creating a host of chances but were only able to net two.
Andrei Arshavin and Robin van Persie were the ones who managed to engrave their names onto the score sheet and also ensured Arsenal go top of their of their Champion League group.

Vito Mannone: 7.5—Not quite as impressive as his performance at Craven Cottage, but nonetheless a solid performance. Pulled of a number of crucial saves and rarely looked shaky.
Emmanuel Eboue: 7—A solid showing from the Ivorian. Kept the right flank relatively tidy and enabled the Gunners to have another attacking option.
William Gallas: 8.5—An outstanding performance. His experience was evident as he pulled of a number of hard challenges and made his presence felt in the air.
Thomas Vermaelen: 7—Neat and tidy. Got the job done when required upon and also looked strong in the air.
Gael Clichy: 7.5—Rarely annoyed down the left and contributed superbly in attack, providing great passes and crosses.
Alexandre Song: 8—Continued his impressive run as defensive midfielder. Broke down a number of promising Olympiacos attacks and chipped in when needed in attack.
Abou Diaby: 7.5—A strong performance which was heavily evident in the first half. A number of accurate passes and some dangerous runs ensured that confidence is returning in him and the fans.
Cesc Fabregas: 8.5—A strong showing from the Captain. A number of vital passes that almost lead to goals. Also made himself evident in defence. Excellent ball allowed van Persie to score.
Tomas Rosicky: 6.5—Some positive performances earned the Czech a starting berth and didn't perform to badly. A few dangerous runs and some nice movements.
Andrei Arshavin: 8—A stunning effort to open the scoring late on reminded everyone of the Russian brilliance. A little quite at stages but when he was hot he was hard to stop.
Robin van Persie: 8—Another performance, another goal. Always a threat when the ball came the Dutchman's way and offered some good passes.

Eduardo Da Silva: 7—Came on and managed to get an assist to his name. Some quick movement was a problem for Olympiacos.
Carlos Vela: 6—Had little time but did look dangerous at times
