While getting new helmets was a fun treat, the North Ridgeville (Ohio) High School football team received an unexpected but awesome surprise during the unveiling of the new lids.
Because it's not every day that a former Heisman Trophy winner shows up at your school.
The Cleveland Browns donated $25,000 to North Ridgeville High School so the team could get new football helmets. In order to properly present the gift, Cleveland sent offensive lineman Cam Erving to the school for the big reveal.
Little did the high schoolers know, another Browns player made the trip. Who? Quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Griffin signed with Cleveland back in March, and although he has yet to appear in a game with the team, he is certainly getting involved in the community. For this stunt, the former Baylor Bear dressed up as a mannequin and waited for the right moment to catch everyone by surprise.
