ESPN Presenter Announces Tottenham as EPL Winners After Leicester Seal Title

Leicester City’s title triumph has caught the attention of many in the sporting world, making them the most memorable Premier League champions in a generation.

For the majority, anyway.

Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea confirmed the Foxes’ astonishing achievement on Monday night. However, when announcing the result, an ESPN presenter on SportsCenter got his wires crossed on a couple of occasions, per the 6th Man on Twitter:

In fairness, the triumph was scarcely believable. Leicester began the season as one of the favourites to be relegated from the top flight, and when they appointed Claudio Ranieri as their manager, plenty of eyebrows were raised.

The Foxes defied nonbelievers all seasonalthough one, it seems, still needs to be convinced.
