But neither that concept nor her father, Jim, could prevent a young girl from tossing a Mitch Moreland foul ball off the upper deck during Sunday's game between the Los Angeles Angels and the Texas Rangers.
Rather than dampen the spirit of her first baseball game, however, it enriched it.

True, her gleeful scoop and toss caused Jim immediate but temporary distress, and his hands were on his head in fandom-fueled anguish.
