2016 NFL Mock Draft: Updated Round 4-7 Projections
Antonio Brown, Devonta Freeman, Brandon Marshall, Josh Sitton, Geno Atkins, Richard Sherman and Josh Norman. The list isn't long, but the number of Day 3 All-Pro selections in 2015 alone should give teams hope in landing a surprise franchise cornerstone on the Saturday of the draft week.
In Super Bowl 50, the Denver Broncos started six Day 3 selections on their championship team, and they even fielded three undrafted starters in running back C.J. Anderson, cornerback Chris Harris and safety Darian Stewart. The team's starting inside linebackers in Denver's 3-4 defense were Brandon Marshall, the 142nd pick in 2012, and Danny Trevathan, the 188th pick in 2012.
Defensive tackle Malik Jackson, whom the team drafted 137th overall in the same draft class as Marshall and Trevathan, signed a $90 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars after showing out as the team's best defensive lineman on a loaded roster.
The first two days of the draft were crazy. Nothing is going to beat live Twitter escapades involving a gas mask or Instagram posts of iMessage screenshots. There isn't that Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith elite talent left on the board, either, at least on the surface.
There will be franchise-changing players drafted on this final day of the 2016 NFL draft, though, and we'll try to nail down who goes where in Bleacher Report's final mock draft of the season, after months of prognostication.
Round 4
1 of 4
Due to the depth in the middle of the 2016 draft class, Day 2 talents are spilling into Day 3. Be it Connor Cook of Michigan State, Andrew Billings of Baylor or even Christian Westerman of Arizona State, there are players who were thought of as top-100 locks who are still lingering around for the final day of the draft.
Day 3 is when the best teams in the NFL separate themselves from the rest of the pack. How? They're the squads that consistently snatch up these prospects who fell through the cracks, and they traded down to acquire several of these now valuable selections.

Round 5
2 of 4
One of the stars of college football over recent years has been Scooby Wright III of Arizona. The linebacker was a unanimous All-American before he sustained a knee injury that kept him off of the field for the majority of the 2015 season.
"Risky college stars" is probably the best way to explain players drafted in the fifth round. At this point, every player has some holes. With that being said, the NFL is built off of role players, and if you can do one thing really well, you can find yourself on an active roster.

Round 6
3 of 4
This is where the real drop-off in talent becomes apparent. Once you get into the late rounds of a draft, you are given the choice between long shots, players who have either character or medical red flags, or quality special teamers.
A few prospects, such as Glenn Gronkowski of Kansas State, may play a position of lesser value and contribute on a kickoff team, which is enough for some franchises to draft a player at this juncture.

177. Los Angeles Rams - Tyvis Powell, S, Ohio State
178. Kansas City Chiefs - Aziz Shittu, DL, Stanford

221. New England Patriots - Dan Vitale, FB, Northwestern
Round 7
4 of 4
The seventh round is glorified undrafted free agency. Players selected in the last round of the draft are essentially camp invitations whom teams would prefer to lock into their rosters early.
This is the time for prospects who are beloved but every line of thinking would tell NFL franchises to pass on these players. Be it Vernon Adams' height or De'Runnya Wilson's horrible on-paper athleticism, this is when front offices call dibs on leftovers "just in case."
222. Tennessee Titans - Vernon Adams, QB, Oregon
223. Cleveland Browns - Demarcus Ayers, WR/RET, Houston
