Oregon Football to Wear 1916 Throwback Uniforms for Spring Game

The Oregon Ducks football team is throwing it way back for their spring game at Autzen Stadium on Saturday.

The Mighty Oregon and the Webfoots squads will be suiting up in new throwback uniforms, honoring the 100th anniversary of their first Rose Bowl appearance in 1916 with the navy, white and gold threads.

In addition to the original school colors, the uniforms will feature other elements reminiscent of the team's earlier years, such as the original Pacific Coast Conference helmet decal.
